Studs are so hot right now.

Studs are so hot right now. They’re a trend that can literally make or break your outfit, but finding the perfect pair of studs for you is an essential part of developing your personal style. You want to be able to walk out of the house feeling confident and ready to take on the world, and there’s nothing more empowering than knowing that your outfit complements who you are as a person while still making a statement.

The first step in picking out studs that suit your style is deciding on what kind of statement you want them to make: Do you want them to be understated? Do they need an edge? Should they be bold but not too loud? It’s important at this point not only because it will help narrow down which styles work best with your face shape (and therefore which ones look best when worn), but also because knowing what kind of statement these earrings will make allows us go ahead and start thinking about other ways we can incorporate those elements into our daily lives (more on this later).

Classic Studs

If you’re not sure what to get, a classic stud is your best bet. It’s a no-brainer and an easy choice because it’s the most versatile—you can wear it with almost anything. The classic stud is a simple, single round stone that has been set in a prong setting with even edges (check out this post for more info on prongs.) This makes them easy to wear because they won’t catch on any of your clothes or accessories like the other styles could. They’re also very comfortable if they aren’t too big or heavy since they don’t have any additional features such as cuffs and claws around them like some of the fancier studs do!

Statement Studs

Statement studs are larger, bolder and more noticeable than regular studs. They will make a statement with your outfit and are often featured in bright colors or special patterns or designs.

They can be more expensive than regular studs because of their size and design, but they can also be worn with more formal outfits for an extra pop of color or style. If you’re looking to add some fun to an otherwise plain outfit, statement studs are perfect for that!

Geometric Studs

Geometric studs are the statement-making cousin of classic studs. These studs are bold and beautiful, with colors that pop and geometric shapes that draw attention. They’re perfect for anyone who loves color or prefers to stand out from the crowd—or both!

Geometric studs come in an array of colors and shapes: think triangles, hexagons, diamonds…you name it! If you’re feeling particularly adventurous (and have plenty of wardrobe pieces to accessorize with), consider getting a set of geometric earrings in different colors or styles so you can switch up your look throughout the day.

Subtle Studs

Small, delicate studs are ideal for every day wear. They can be worn alone or as a pair with other earrings. They’re also great for people who want to stack multiple piercings but aren’t sure about how much weight they can handle.

If you love the idea of subtle earrings that are barely there, consider getting some tiny moon studs (which look like little stars). A set of tiny hearts is also an option; these usually come in pairs and are often worn together in one earlobe. If you want something more unique and eye-catching, try out tiny star studs!

There are lots of studs out there, so make sure you pick the right ones for you.

Studs are a great way to change your style in an instant. They’re subtle enough for everyday wear, but can also be a statement piece. There are many different types of earrings to choose from, so finding the right ones for you is key!

For example, if you’re going out with friends or even on a date, studs are perfect because they are easy to wear and won’t get in the way of dancing. However if you want something more formal like prom or wedding day jewelry then definitely go with hoops or dangle earrings instead.

If all this talk about studs has got your head spinning then here’s what I’ve found: A pair of simple studs with one larger stone is usually best because it makes the biggest impact without being too flashy (and it won’t hurt as much when someone accidentally sits on them).
