Silver isn’t as shiny as gold.
Silver is a soft metal, meaning it’s more malleable and less durable than gold. This makes it more prone to scratches and dents. Gold has a higher value than silver because of its shininess and durability, so investing in gold bangles will last you longer than silver ones would. A lot of people also prefer the look of gold over silver when paired with diamonds or other gems; they think that the shine provides more sparkle and elegance, which makes sense if you’re trying to impress people! If you have an expensive piece of jewelry like diamond earrings or a fancy watch that needs cleaning sometimes (like after sweating in your exercise class), then using something like hydrogen peroxide might damage them – but since these metals are cheaper than others like platinum and palladium they’re easier to replace!
Silver isn’t always made of pure silver.
You may know that there are alloys of silver, but do you know exactly what they are and why they’re used? If not, let me explain.
A common alloy is sterling silver. Sterling silver contains 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper, making it less expensive than the higher grades of purer metals. The copper in sterling has two purposes:
- It makes the silver stronger by preventing marked dents from forming on its surface; this makes your jewelry last longer before it needs repair or replacement
- It allows for more intricate designs to be created because of the malleable nature of mixed metals (for example, if a piece were made entirely out of 18K gold it wouldn’t be able to bend into a bracelet shape without breaking).
Another popular alloy is called “coin” or “coin-silver”, which consists mostly (80%) of pure .999 fine (.999 = 99%) silver with trace amounts (.05%) copper added for strength while still retaining its shiny appearance (the remaining 20% being alloys like nickel or zinc).
Gold lasts longer.
Gold is more resistant to corrosion than silver. Silver is naturally soft and malleable, but also quite reactive with many compounds in the air. Over time, this causes silver jewelry to tarnish, or lose its shine and appear dull.
Gold on the other hand is an extremely stable metal; it won’t turn black or green like some other metals do when exposed to oxygen either accidentally (like if you drop your bangle) or intentionally (you can clean it with a polishing cloth).
Gold looks better with diamonds.
Gold is also a great choice for your diamond engagement ring, as it will complement the best qualities of diamonds. For example, gold is flexible and malleable (you can bend it), while diamonds are hard and tough (you can’t bend them). These two metals work together well because they compliment each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
Another reason why you should consider wearing gold bangles with your diamond engagement ring is that gold looks amazing when paired with diamonds. They’re both precious—and they go so well together!
Gold is easier to clean.
Gold is also easier to clean than other metals, as it doesn’t tarnish or oxidize. You can use any mild soap and water to clean your gold bangle with no fear of damage.
Gold Bangles Are The Best!
Gold bangles are the best bangles. They’re better than silver, platinum, copper and steel bangles. If you’re going to get a bangle (and you should!), then get one that is made from gold.
Gold is the metal of choice for many reasons:
- The metal has very few imperfections and is therefore very strong. This means it won’t break easily and it will last a long time!
- It can be hammered into thin sheets that can be used in jewelry making because they are malleable (meaning they can be hammered out).
- Gold never tarnishes so your jewelry will always look shiny and new!
Gold banglez are the best bangles, hands down.
If you’re looking for bangles that are going to last a lifetime, there’s no better metal than gold.
While silver and other metals like tungsten might be popular, they simply cannot match the durability of gold. Gold is also known for being easy to care for – it doesn’t tarnish or discolour over time like some metals do. And when it comes to matching other jewellery, nothing can beat the classic look of gold.
