Makenna and Makayla have been working on this project for over three years.

You have probably noticed that Makenna and Makayla are sisters. They are also the inventors of this product! In kindergarten, they did a science project on chakras and how they affect your health. They decided to continue their research into adulthood in order to create something that would help people improve their lives through the power of wearing one-of-a-kind chakra bracelets. It took them three years of hard work and research before they were ready to bring it to market!

You’ve worn a braclet for years for something, why not one for your chakras?

Chakras are the energy centers in our bodies. Each chakra has a different color and meaning. For example, the seventh chakra that is located on top of your head is known as the crown chakra.

The crown chakra represents your ability to connect with universal energy and receive wisdom from above. The sixth one represents communication and connection with others. The fifth one connects you to your body and physical sensations, while fourth connects you to emotions, creativity and imagination.

In this project I will be focusing on two of them: third (throat) and second (heart).

For example, they made a prototype when they were first grade. Then, as a second grader, they made another prototype (and so on).

The true inspiration came from a Phish pin her dad had since he was a teenager.

The true inspiration came from a Phish pin her dad had since he was a teenager. The pin was from a show in 1995 and it had a chakra on it. She loved the idea of what this symbol represented, so she took the idea and made it into something that could be worn everyday.

Taking that inspiration they came up with the idea of creating wearable art that incorporates the chakras.

The inspiration for the chakras bracelet comes from years of studying the energy of the seven chakras. The chakra bracelet takes that inspiration and transforms it into wearable art. Each color represents one of the seven major energy centers in your body, so when you wear this beautiful piece, you’re connecting to all seven at once!

They wanted to share this concept with other people to help them discover their inner spirit through color and energy.

As we all know, our bodies are made up of many different types of energy. These energies can be found in our chakras, which are located throughout the body and act as a sort of spiritual circulatory system. Each chakra is connected to an element (fire, water, earth or air) but they all share one common goal: helping us maintain balance.
